TISA response to FCA Asset Management Market Study Final Report

June 28, 2017

TISA response to FCA Asset Management Market Study Final Report TISA, the investments and savings membership organisation, has given its initial response to the FCA’s Asset Management Market Study Final Report published today.

David Dalton-Brown, TISA Director General said:

We are an advocate of greater competition in the market as this ultimately supports better outcomes for investors, particularly retail clients. Our work on MiFID II has identified the benefits of transparency on costs and charges in helping investors to make informed investment decisions. We are therefore pleased to see that the FCA have recognised both of these aspects in the recommendations and remedies contained in the Final Report. We will continue to liaise with our members and the regulator through our MiFID II Working Groups and other committees to identify good practice in the interpretation and implementation of the relevant aspects of the Final Report.”
