TISA appoints Richard Freeman as Non-Executive Director

TISA, the financial services membership association, has announced that Richard Freeman, chief distribution officer at Old Mutual Wealth is to join its Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Richard Freeman became chief distribution officer for Old Mutual Wealth on 1st January 2016 following the acquisition by Old Mutual of Intrinsic, where he was chief executive officer. After a career in the Army, all of his second career has been involved in the distribution of financial products and services in the UK. He spent his early career at Allied Dunbar where he progressed to the Management Board. In 2006, along with Lord Sandy Leitch, he launched Intrinsic.

Tony Solway, Chairman of TISA said:

 Last month TISA appointed Larry Banda, divisional director financial planning, protection and investments at Nationwide as a Non-Executive Director.
